Our Strategic Plan embraces our mission to empower older adults to live purposefully, with
amenities like meals, laundry, and housekeeping. We do not require you to pay into a plan. Residents can choose to pay for these amenities à la carte.

As an organization first founded in 1856, we have a solid track-record of fiscal responsibility and
accountability. Our Board of Directors has never failed to rigorously manage our properties to
ensure our bottom line is protected and to enhance our significant Endowment.

 We are in a Boston neighborhood with access to all that this wonderful city has to offer.
Conveniently located just south of Faulkner Hospital, across from the Arnold Arboretum, and
nestled on the edge of Allandale Woods. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

What is Special about Independent Living at Sophia Snow Place?

We are a good investment. The current Entrance Fee of $279,000 to $316,000 for an apartment
is 93% refundable to you or your Estate. Our monthly membership fee of $1,330 is among the
lowest for senior living. Parking fee is $50 per month.

As Aging is a continuum, so is the support from Sophia Snow Place. Our relationship with Sophia
Snow House Supportive Living gives the peace of mind that you have priority should you ever

need more assistance.  We offer wonderful, private, and engaging space with highly trained staff.

Community is our priority. Activities are structured to engage, entertain, and enlighten. We are
fortunate to have a highly active and diverse group of residents who respect one another. As a
staff we work hard to ensure that this remains our culture.

Our one-bedroom apartments are spacious and up to date. Each room includes a large bonus space that can be used for dining, an office, or for guest accommodation. The kitchen is complete with a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. Each apartment has a washer and dryer.

Our residents stay involved in the community’s decisions including the budget through the Resident Council, and in the enhancement of our campus through special projects like the Restorative Garden.

Our 66 apartments are available to individuals over 62 years old, or over 55 years old with a disability.

What is Special About Supportive Living at Sophia Snow House?

All our Suites are private, spacious, and include a fully accessible handicapped bathroom.

As a licensed Rest Home, our specially trained staff distribute medications if they are not
injectable. We also aid in scheduling appointments and with personal care like if needed.

Our monthly rate of $6,909 is highly competitive and includes three meals and a snack daily,
laundry, housekeeping, and a medical team on-site 24 hours and seven days a week.

Activities and engagements happen all day with residents encouraged to participate for their
physical and mental well-being.

Families or designated confidants are kept informed about resident progress and consulted
whenever necessary.

Community is essential to the mission of Sophia Snow House, with our goal being to meet our
residents where they are to support their sense of purpose and encourage their fulfillment.

Sophia Snow Place values our dining experience, and champions as a central priority the provision of a high quality and diversified menu. Our selections reflect the season, and our offerings are created with the best in freshness and local in mind. Driven by our amazing Chef, our meals are as much a creation as a necessity. Special events highlighting holidays and other celebrations like resident birthdays are a regular feature of our culture at Sophia Snow. It is our expressed goal to understand the individual dietary needs of every resident, and focus on providing the best options to meet our diners needs and expectations.
